It’s easy to switch to Opera
You know when you don't want to do something, like go out, but a friend makes you and then you're really glad you did. This is one of those situations.
Drop photos and post to Instagram from desktop
You don't need a mobile device to post to Instagram. Just open Instagram from your sidebar in Opera Browser. Click the + icon on top to post photos to Instagram from your desktop computer. Upload photos to Instagram on desktop by selecting, or simply dragging and dropping a photo.
Make your Instagram account private
Click the Instagram profile button in the top-right, then the settings icon next to your username. Select Privacy and Security, then check the box that says Private account.
Avoid accidentally liking photos in Instagram
Sign into the Instagram web feature in Opera Browser. Then you can only like photos by clicking with your mouse, rather than tapping.
Filter keywords in Instagram
Click your profile button in the top-right, then the settings icon. Select Privacy and Security, followed by Edit Comment Settings. Add keywords to automatically hide comments that contain them.
See all the Instagram photos you are tagged in
Using Instagram in Opera Browser, click on your Instagram profile in the top-right and click Saved. Select the photo icon on the right (looks like a person inside a speech bubble) and you will be presented with all the Instagram photos you are tagged in.
Enable Instagram’s two-factor authentication
Click the Instagram profile button in the top-right, then the settings icon next to your name. Select Privacy and Security, and click on Edit Two-Factor Authentication Settings. Choose text message authentication or use an authentication app.
Change Instagram notification settings
Open Instagram from the sidebar in Opera Browser, click the Instagram profile button in the top-right, then the settings icon next to your name. Select Notifications and choose how you want to be notified.
Download all of your Instagram data
Click the Instagram profile button in the top-right, then the settings icon next to your username. Select Privacy and Security, then click Request Download. You will be emailed a file link with your photos, comments, profile data and other information.
Send direct messages in Instagram
Open Instagram from the sidebar in Opera Browser. Click the Instagram messenger icon up top. It looks like a paper airplane.
Clear your Instagram search history
If you are using the Instagram desktop feature in Opera’s sidebar, go to Instagram profile in the top-right, then the settings icon next to your name. Select Privacy and Security, and then click View Account Data. Under Search History, select View All and click Clear Search History.
Check your Instagram login activity
Select your profile button in the top-right, then the settings icon next to your name. Select Login Activity to see your activity and confirm whether or not it was you.
See who is following you on Instagram
Go to your profile button in the top-right, then the settings icon next to your name. Select Privacy and Security, and then click View Account Data. Under Accounts following you, click View All.
